Our 3-Day Group Joining or Private Safari is tailored towards the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, which allow you to experience the highlights of northern Tanzania in a very short time. This plan is tailored mainly for those who are looking for a safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater but have limited time.
If you love watching incredible animals in their natural habitats and visiting some of the most beautiful landscapes on earth, then we have no doubt that you’ll fall in love with Tanzania too.
Boasting the world-class Serengeti National Park with its tree climbing lions, Tanzania is arguably the world’s ultimate safari destination.
The most popular safari route in Tanzania is called the Northern Circuit. This circuit includes the mystical Ngorongoro Crater, home to the rare black rhino and Tarangire National Park with its huge elephant herds. In addition to the incredible national parks and wildlife, Tanzania is unique in its cultural diversity with over 120 tribes.
Each tribe has their own unique culture and traditions such as the famous Maasai Tribe with their iconic jumping dance and the Hadzabe bushmen who live as they did thousands of years ago and speak in a clicking dialect.
What animals you will see on Tanzania safari?
In Tanzania, the allure of spotting the ‘Big Five’ — lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, and elephants—draws many to its safaris. While rhinos are rare in East Africa, they can still be spotted, especially in the Ngorongoro Crater. The other Big Five members are plentiful, promising exciting sightings.
But there’s more than the Big Five. Tanzania teems with wildlife like cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and monkeys. Bird lovers will be thrilled by the 1,156 bird species, including over 800 resident and hundreds of migratory species, best seen from December to April.
After a breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. This drive will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area so you will be able to view the Ngorongoro Crater on the way. This drive will take around six hours depending on the game on the way because sometimes there is a high concentration of game on the southern plains. You may have a chance to stop at the Ndutu area depends on the time. You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way then proceeds to your camp/lodge with a game drive en-route arriving in the evening.
After breakfast, you will proceed with packed lunch for early morning game drive between 08:00 – 14:30 hours. Then, will depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying a game drive en-route viewing along the way to where you will have dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. In midday, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. Ngorongoro is one of the 8th Wonders of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife.
